With a remarkable career spanning over 23 years in Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations, Abubakar Shuaibu Jimeta is a true professional. He has left his mark on notable industries, including Banking, FMCG, and Automobile, and now in the Energy sector. His journey has seen him contribute to the success of multinational firms such as British American Tobacco and Peugeot, Dana Motors, and others. As a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing, Nigeria (NIMN), Abubakar is a multi-skilled business manager with a passion for marketing and inspiring people.

His achievements include leading the Kano Central Region with over 500 staff as the Regional Manager for KEDCO, where he was recognized with the Trail Blazer Award for transforming systems, operations models, processes, and revenue generation.

Currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Abubakar excels in directing and supervising revenue cycles. He identifies weaknesses in revenue processes, plans effective interventions, and promotes synergy among all units and departments.

Beyond his professional life, Abubakar is a Tech Enthusiast, a Polo Lover, and a movie geek. His dedication to excellence and innovation is an asset to our webinar.


Speaker Profile: Johnson Adetunji Tinuoye - A 25-Year Sales & Marketing Maestro

Johnson Adetunji Tinuoye brings over 25 years of illustrious experience spanning Sales, Marketing Management, Market Research, Brand Management, and Logistics in the FMCG, Insurance, and Intelligence sectors. His journey includes stints at renowned organizations such as Nigerian Breweries, L'Oréal, Kodak, and Gillette P&G, among others.

Mr. Tinuoye's remarkable career also extends to the power sector, where he has worn various hats at Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO). He has served as Head of High Revenue Customers, Regional Commercial Manager, Regional Manager, and Chief Revenue Assurance Officer. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Chief Key Customer Accounts Officer at Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company.

A distinguished Chartered Marketer and member of the National Institute of Marketing, Mr. Tinuoye's expertise lies in business and market development, key account management, and market intelligence. He's a sales maestro known for motivating teams and driving on-the-job sales applications. His role as Chief Revenue Assurance Officer at KEDCO saw him orchestrate strategies to enhance revenue generation and collection processes, resulting in significant revenue growth.

Ahmed Alibaba is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in both the financial and power sectors. He began his career at Wema Bank and swiftly advanced from a Management Trainee to a Senior Banking Officer. His banking career saw him excel during the consolidation era, handling critical roles such as Head of Commercial Banking. Alibaba's leadership extended into the utility industry when he joined KEDCO, where he received numerous awards for his exceptional contributions. Abubakar Ibrahim is a distinguished professional in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, and Customer Service. With over a decade of experience in the power sector, he's a driving force for positive change and innovation. His extensive academic background, including a Ph.D. in Public Relations and Marketing, equips him with a unique perspective.

Having worked with renowned electricity distribution companies such as Kano Electric, Kaduna Electric, Yola Electric, and Jos Electricity Distribution, PLC, Abubakar consistently delivers exceptional results. He's received accolades such as the Best Area Office Manager Award for Q3 2021 and Regional Customer Relations Officer of the Year in 2018 at Kano Electricity Distribution Company.

Renowned as a customer service champion, Abubakar excels in building and maintaining positive relationships with customers. His dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction has earned him recognition, including the Best Public Relations Officer of the Year in 2013 by the National Youth Service Corps, Kano State Secretariat.

As a key member of the 2016 restructuring team at Kano Electric, he played a pivotal role in driving significant efficiency improvements, increasing collections from 1.2 billion to over 4 billion by September 2019. His commitment to knowledge sharing earned him a Certificate of Honour as an L&D Faculties member at Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company.

In September 2023, Dr. Ibrahim co-founded Enpower Consult and Technical Partners, the organizers of this webinar. His recent role as the Head of Customer Service at Yola Electricity Distribution Company contributed to improving revenue and workforce capacity.

Currently, he serves as the Head of Key Accounts Customers at Jos Electricity Distribution PLC. With his wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion, Abubakar Ibrahim continues to drive positive change and innovation within the electricity sector, advocating for excellence in customer service, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
